Mahesh Khaleja

Story, Screenplay, Direction: Trivikram Srinivas
Music: Mani Sharma
Cinematography: Yash Bhatt, Sunil Patel
Producer: Singanamala Ramesh, C. Kalyan
Production Banner: Kanakaratna Movies

Story

This movie from Prince Mahesh coming after a long gap and that raised the bar. There has been an argument about the title as well, finally the movie name changed to “Mahesh Khaleja”.

GK (Prakash Raj)  is a famous business man and wanted to setup a plastic factory in a village called “Paali”. There he finds iridium ore which is more worth than gold and his eyes now fall on this. He tries to get his son married to the local leader’s (Tanikella Bharani) daughter to get hold of land. Now the hero (Mahesh) who is a cab driver somehow ends up in the village. All the villages assume that he came to rescue them. The rest of the plot is how the hero rescues them from GK.

Analysis

In nut shell, the story is not very new. Writer turned director Trivikram made “Athadu” that showed Mahesh in a different dimension. He tried the same approach and succeed in that. However the entire screenplay is not to the levels of “Athadu”. Mahesh looks fresh stylish. Dialogues are as usual trivikram style and same goes with comedy. It is made with about 35 crores and not sure if the cost is justified.

IT Department raids Gaali brothers

The Income Tax department has been raiding the houses and offices of Gali Janardhan Reddy, Minister for Tourism in Karnataka, since this morning. About 60 IT teams has been conducting searches in his houses at Bangalore, Bellari and Hyderabad. It is reported that some key files were found by IT. The department is estimating the value of his property. The house of Raghava Chary, the lawyer of Gali, was also raided by IT department. However, the Chief Minister of Karnataka, Yeddyurappa, declined to comment on the matter as he had no clear information.

The officers of the rank of Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner and Inspector took part in the raids. It is believed that the information on the raids was leaked to Gali brothers earlier and key documents were made safe. It is reported that a huge penalty may be imposed on Gali Janardhan Reddy by IT department based on the evidence found in the raids.

The TDP leader Revanth Reddy welcomed the raids and said that the brothers were trying to dominate the politics with the illegal earnings from their mining business. It may be recalled that Gali has vowed to eliminate Congress from the south in the past and the raids are the result of this. However, the BJP leaders were upset over the raids and seeing the raids as the acts of revenge. It may be confirmed that the support of Gali brothers is crucial for the survival of the BJP government in Karnataka.

Healthy Eating

Many people think that healthy takeaway food means simply avoiding a burger and fries or KFC chicken. Often, ethnic foods such as Chinese or Indian are seen as the healthy option – perhaps because they don’t come with a side order of fries and a coke.

Unfortunately, it’s a nutritional minefield out there, and things are rarely what they seem.
